The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Fejér County, in addition to its responsibilities set forth in the Act on Chambers and other legal regulations in effect, is a key player in the economic development of the region. As a member of the Enterprise Europe Network, FMKIK promotes the strengthening of foreign economic relations and the propagation of innovation culture. It contributes to developing the workforce attraction capability of the region through the integration of the Carpathian Basin economic area.
It plays a key role in the representation of interests and in networking in the Central Transdanubian region and its wider economic environment by knowingly engaging the youth and creating local and regional entrepreneurial communities.
It takes part in developing a vocational education system adjusted to the needs of the economy, and in developing dual education and adult education. It contributes to the successful career orientation of future generations, promotes master craftsmen in practical training, and strengthens the social and professional recognition of the ‘master’ title.
The operation of the service-providing and entrepreneur-centred chamber is characterized by a modern methodology, innovation, and development, an effort to promote the use of renewable energy and environmentally conscious thinking, the propagation of Excellence Culture, and a commitment to quality.
