Bringing success to 2.6 million SMEs

Find out how our information, advisory and partnership services support European SMEs.

How the Network has helped SMEs

The Enterprise Europe Network is a reference point for growth-oriented SMEs with international ambitions. It has shown itself to be a trustworthy source of information, advisory and partnership services for European companies looking to innovate and expand.

In its first seven years of activity (2008-2014), the Network provided support to more than 2.6 million SMEs. That's an average of over 380,000 per year.

How have we boosted small businesses?

The Network has proved itself to be a gateway to international partnerships. More than 1.7 million SMEs attended our events to learn, to network and to do business.

Network advisers are behind close to 90,000 targeted business connections per year. That's more than 7,000 SMEs connecting and doing business across borders every month.

Combining local knowledge and international business expertise, our advisers responded to 10,000 enquiries a month.

Our technology audits and business reviews helped some 13,000 companies a year to up their games.

What do companies say about our services?

More than 85% of our polled clients said they are either satisfied or very satisfied with the quality of services received.

"I have found a new partner with new ideas to help make my business grow. I owe this new step to my advisers from the Network who knew how to bring the right people to the right place at the right time," says Eugeniu Lisnic of JirmaN Engineering, a Romanian SME that designs and builds wooden houses.

"Finding a trustworthy international partner is never easy, but with the help of the Enterprise Europe Network, we immediately found the right personal and professional chemistry to proceed to a tangible cooperation," says Arnoldas Vasiliauskas of Vacys ir Vacys, a Lithuanian technology company.
