This EEN brokerage event is organized in the framework of the XXI IUPAC Conference on Solid Urban Waste Management, that will take place in Rome from 6 to 8 April 2016.http://www.iupac-rome2016.it/The aim of IUPAC Conference is to present a comprehensive perspective on the current challenges of solid urban waste management and new directions for their exploitation, especially through a “from waste to resource” approach. The Conference will bring together experts from the urbanized world, as well as experts from developing countries, giving an opportunity not only to scientists from many disciplines, but also to other organizations, policy makers and groups involved in control and certification, to meet together and discuss future trends and action required.On the occasion of this scientific event, CNR and ENEA, Italian partners of the EEN – Enterprise Europe Network will arrange a brokerage event focused on the main topics of the Conference:-Solid urban waste management-Technologies and materials for reuse and recycle-Environmental engineering-Emerging biotechnologies for sustainable waste management-Green Chemistry-Chemical and materials-Manufacturing of new materials from wastes and bio-wastes-Materials recycling and transformation-Renewable energy from urban wastesThe b2b will benefit from the presence of about 300 expected delegates from all over the world, attending the Conference, that will give a contribution to scientific research in order to create a virtuos cycle based on the so-called "3Rs" (Reduce, Re-use and Recycle). The aim of the brokerage event is to create an open dialogue on the theme of solid urban waste management, highlighting best practices and sharing experiences, in order to find new opportunities of cooperation to create valuable sinergies between research and business world.
