Praxi Network is organizing an outgoing company mission of Greek SMEs in Cyprus during the 4th International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management which will take place in Limassol between 23–25 June 2016.
The company mission will focus on novel Biological treatment techniques (composting & anaerobic digestion), Livestock waste management & valorization techniques as well as innovative circular economy methods in the hotel industry. On site visits and guided tours in various plants and hotels in the Limassol area will be organised.
Why Participate in the Company Mission?
During the mission Greek and Cypriot SMEs active in the circular economy (solid waste management, environmental protection, sustainable tourism) will have the opportunity to establish cross-border contacts for future co-operations, through site visits /guided tours and international seminars with the aim of conducting business deals and exploit new business models in circular economy.
Along the Company mission a special session on "Financing the Circular Economy in the Med islands " will be organised during the conference where available Structural (ESIF) and Investment Funds (EFSI) and other Financial Instuments (FI) for the deployment of the circular economy infrastructure will be presented. In the second part of the session, H2020 programs(LEIT-SC5) for the circular economy will be presented for the participating SMEs. Attention will be given to synergies with other initiatives like "innovation deals" , "Seal of Excellence" and innovative public procurement methods for the circular economy in the Med islands.
