The main challenges for agriculture worldwide are sustainable production and the reduction of risks and impacts of pesticide use on human health and the environment using alternative approaches and techniques. Future Integrated Pest Management (IPM) 3.0 Brokerage Event, organized in the contest of the IPM 3.0 conference, has the main objective to promote technological, research and business partnership among companies, farmers and researchers, to share approaches, tools and techniques to meet the future needs of crop protection. Future IPM 3.0 conference will offer the most advanced technical knowledge for growers, a unique opportunity for companies to present their innovation in IPM and to see the most recent advances to further improve their products’ portfolio. The three selected subjects in the field of sustainable agriculture are:- PRODUCTS (biopesticides, semiochemical-based technologies to control pests, traps, compost and fertilizers)- ICT and MECHATRONIC SOLUTIONS (decision support systems, app, software and hardware for agriculture, services, spray technology, low-carbon emission equipment, automation in agriculture, drones)- INFRASTRUCTURE (plastic and glass protection, insect-proof and hail nets, light and water management technologies)The Brokerage Event will be organized by Trentino Sviluppo SPA (TS), the regional development agency in Trentino. TS manages six Business Innovation Centers, out of which two incubators are related to green-tech and mechatronics domains. TS was main organizer in three past brokerage events, and along this initiative it will collaborate with the partners Fondazione Edmund Mach (research center focused on agriculture) and Hub Innovazione Trentino (no profit corporate consortium related to innovation and technology transfer). TS is expecting the EU production systems to become more sustainable, while supplying healthier and safer food and protecting the environment and its biodiversity, so the support potentially given from other network partners may be essential to organize an event that collects the best novelties and technologies in EU.The brokerage event is free of charge.
