The 5th European Integrated Plant Engineering Conference (IPEC) will take place in Nuremberg on the 13th of March 2019, this time with a focus on “edge analytics“. The event will be organized by the CCI Nuremberg and Automation Valley Nordbayern and supported by other partners and exhibitors. The conference serves the exchange of experiences and ideas on edge analytics. Edge analytics has gained attention in the course of the Internet of Things (IoT), enabling data analysis directly at a sensor, network switch or other devices instead of sending the data to a central cloud. As the market for edge analytics is predicted to grow enormously, the conference is of high interest for all computer scientists, IT specialists, industry experts and all firms engaging in edge analytics.The conference includes several international speakers from countries such as Denmark, Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, and Norway. Thus, the conference will be held in English. Participation is free of charge. The number of participants is limited.Parallel to the conference, the Enterprise Europe Network organises a partnering event specifically for the international visitors of the IPEC 2019. International conference participants can request meetings with speakers, exhibitors and conference participants in advance. The meetings will be arranged by the Enterprise Europe Network on the conference site in parallel to the official programme and will include participant from the mentioned countries. The aim is to assist enterprises, universities and research institutions in finding partners in Europe and beyond for product development, manufacturing and licensing agreements, distribution partnerships, joint ventures or other types of partnership.
