A French technical centre has developed a strong expertise in the treatment of metal and polymer based parts, in industrial cleaning and surface functionalizing. The high-pressure supercritical nitrogen jet under cryogenic temperature enables faster, safer and more eco-friendly industrial dry cleaning, machining and cutting without waste production. A commercial agreement with technical assistance is sought with industrial companies interested in using the technology in their processes.
This French technical centre has developed an innovative high-pressure nitrogen jet process that can be used for the coating preparation, as well as the industrial cleaning. The centre has also developed this technology for the cutting of metal parts. The projection of the nitrogen under high-pressure (to 3,800 bar) and under very low temperature (-140 °C) on the material enables a safe cleaning. The nitrogen takes its gaseous state again, which enables a dry cleaning of the toughest coat in every nook without any mark, by being eco-friendly at the same time while producing no additional waste. This method also eliminates contaminated products or surfaces which would be useful in the nuclear industry. Efficiency regarding industrial degreasing, descaling or cutting and environmental respect are put together with this innovative process. The French technical centre is looking for a commercial agreement with technical assistance to develop their high-pressure nitrogen jet and their “abrasive” water jet destined to the cutting of metal parts.
The advantages brought by this technology enable the treatment and the accurate cutting of both metal and polymer based parts, the coating preparation and the industrial cleaning. Because the company has developed this new technology, the cleaning and the maintenance of high performance material used in the automotive, aeronautic and aerospace industry is optimised. The accurate cutting or drilling of specific materials like glass or crystal, regarding the luxury industry is possible.
