A Chilean vineyards association located in the sixth region founded in 2004 and currently consists of 19 vineyards in 5 communes of Colchagua province. The company has developed a corporate marketing plan to be the first wine grape growers’ organization that is certified "Fair Trade" in the O'Higgins Region as suppliers of raw materials and to produce wine through strategic partner relationships. The chilean association in the sixth region was created on 2004 as a limited company by public deed. The association had a registered capital of $26 million Chilean pesos which was divided into 14,000 shares that went on sale to 60 farmers who historically integrated the association.
The association is currently completing a stage of organizational development, corporate image branding and planning business associations around the production of wine, since currently the majority of farmers only have access to the market the sale of raw materials.
The total area of vineyards in production for the twenty producers of the association is 141.6 hectares, representing 0.7 % of the total area planted in the Colchagua Valley and approximately one-third of the surface of the small producers belonging to rural family agriculture.
