This UK-based company produces and distributes natural skincare products, sold in vintage glass packaging and tubes that appeal to the gifting market. The range includes moisturisers, body oils and bath salts.
With growing demand for its products, the company is now looking for new suppliers of its packaging, both glass pots / bottles (with lids) and tubes. It therefore seeks manufacturing agreements with packaging producers overseas.
The UK company manufactures and markets a range of hand-made and natural skin products, with its own strong and distinctive brand.
The range is targeted at busy women seeking natural, honest skincare rather than mass market products which make big claims. It includes:
• Body moisturisers
• Anti-bacterial hand-creams and hand-wash
• Face and body oils
• Bath salts
The company also offer gift sets. All the products are made from natural ingredients such as shea and cocoa butter, aloe vera, avocado and apricot kernel oils and are sold in vintage glass packaging or tubes. Two of the products have won international beauty awards in their categories.
Demand for the company’s products is growing and it is therefore looking at the sourcing of its packaging, keen to find new suppliers who can meet its needs at competitive prices. The packaging required is:
• glass pots / bottles with lids, used typically for moisturisers, creams and bath salts;
• tubes with lids, used for hand creams.
The company is also potentially interested to speak to new label suppliers. Whilst manufacturers based close to the UK are favoured for practical / logistical reasons, the firm is prepared to consider any company who can offer the products required at competitive prices.
Potential partners should be able to meet the specifications and delivery deadlines of the UK firm, to fit in with production needs.
Glass pots and bottles should be suitable for skincare products and will be required in various sizes, including 10ml & 50ml (bottles) and 120ml and 250g jars. Typical orders could be 5,000 – 10,000 each time.
Tubes would be required in 70ml sizes and typically 15,000 would be needed at a time.
Manufacture and delivery would be expected within 4 months (maximum) of order.
Detailed specifications would be made available during any negotiations.
Partners should be experienced manufacturers of glass and tube packaging, of types suitable for skincare or related products and be able to meet the specifications and delivery deadlines set by the UK company. Prices would be subject to negotiations but should be competitive.
The partner manufacturers will be required to work with the UK company to implement any future packaging changes and be open to a long-term collaborative relationship.
