The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI RM) is a non-governmental, independent organization, activating in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Moldova No. 393-XIV of May 13th 1999 and representing the interests of the business community in the Republic of Moldova. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry is one of the most representative structures in the country that is able to identify and promote business circles’ interests in different fields of the economy, due to its specialized departments and its branches throughout the entire country, including Transnistria. The Chamber has 10 branches and 22 representation office that allow the CCI to manage and closely monitor the demands and the interests of its members, based on tight collaboration with them. At the moment, more than 1450 economic operators have joined the membership of the CCI RM. More than 90% of the members are exporters. The biggest national and joint companies (producers, service providers, exporters) benefit from CCI’s services. The CCI RM structure is complex, allowing the provision of consultancy in economics, finance, legislation, certification, evaluation, and quality control and assessment fields. CCI RM has its specialized Departments of International Relations, Expertise, Evaluation and Certification, as well as the Department of Economy that makes analysis of country’s economic situation. The major objective of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova is to support the business community in the country and to create a favorable environment for business development, as well as to represent the interests of its members in relation with governmental authorities and foreign business communities. The CCI RM has a well developped network of partner organzations all over the world. It has signed over 100 Agreements of Cooperation with national and regional business support organizaitons from over 50 countries of the world.
