2018 B2B brokerage event in Taiwan Int'l Medical and Healthcare Exhibition Show

Enterprise Europe Network Taiwan is hosting a business-to-business (B2B) brokerage event on 21 June 2018, followed by a seminar on 22 June, 2018. These events will take place during the Taiwan International Medical and Healthcare Exhibition Show in Taipei.

The largest of its kind in Taiwan’s medical industry, the show will take place 21-24 June at the Taipei World Trade Centre Exhibition Hall 1 (TWTC).

With Taiwan's mature ICT and high-tech industries, key industrial players have the necessary skillsets to engage the medical and healthcare markets, including taking part in the development of medical services, and Taiwan’s growing medical tourism field. As a result, several new themes will be highlighted in 2018:

1. Medical Technology & IoT Applications
Taiwan's smart healthcare companies such as AVALUE, Manifold Health Tech, and SOMNICS will showcase their intelligent systems, medical solutions and medical monitors to the world.

2. Factory of Intelligent Additive Manufacturing Medical Devices (FoiAM)
Taiwan's first demonstration area focusing on 3D-printed implantable medical devices will be set up by the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI).

3. Taiwan Medical Specialty Alliance
Hospitals and clinics will form a medical alliance to impress international visitors with their quality service and first-class healthcare facilities, as well as attract medical tourists to experience Taiwan's customized medical treatments.

The B2B brokerage event will be held at the centre booth of the Taipei World Trade Centre Exhibition Hall 1, 2-5 pm on 21 June. The seminar will take place 22 June in Conference Room 1 and will focus on international business opportunities regarding the import regulatory base. These two events are anticipated to bring Taiwanese and European SMEs / enterprises together toward business cooperation, technology-sharing, and innovation collaboration.
