Taiwanese companies have worked closely with European companies, and Europe is Taiwan’s third largest trade partner. According to Taiwan Directorate General of Customs statistics, Taiwan exported US 315.7 billion to Europe i n 2018, accounting for 9.4% of Taiwan’s total exports, 8.3% higher than 2017.
The Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) and TAITRA are co hosting the 2019 Trade with Europe in Taipei, which aims to augment Taiwan Europe bilateral business cooperation. One on one business meetings will enable European businesses to tap into Taiwan’s global supply chain and vice versa.
The event will feature a series of industries, such as ICT, machinery (including parts), hand tools, bicycles (including parts), green energy, biotechnology, and more.
