University of Maribor as the coordinator of EDIH DIGI-SI organizes a kick-off promotional conference. The main theme of the event is manufacturing as one of the 4 main sectors in focus by the EDIH DIGI-SI along with health, agrifood and tourism. The event is intended for SMEs from the beforementioned sectors, business support organisations, R&D institutions, public administration, policy makers (local and European), researchers, and DIH and EDIH network members. It will feature a conference, roundtable, b2b meetings, closed working group EEN-EDIH and announce the winner of the Digital Innovation Challenge Competition.
The conference will primarily give SMEs an opportunity to learn about EDIHs and their services and how other actors of supporting environment complement those. It will present 300+ of the best Slovenian researchers in the field of digitization and 30+ experts in digital transformation that can help companies across Europe in their digital transformation.
Participants will get a chance to familiarize themselves with the latest trends, create new business opportunities, educate their employees and test the latest digital technologies. Digital Innovation Challenge Competition will also take place, exposing 20 best digital innovations in Slovenia, ready to be implemented in companies in need. EEN B2B event will enable participants from outside Slovenia to learn about Slovenian digital innovation offer and will be organized in hybrid form.
The event will highlight the role of EDIHs within the Digital Europe Programme, more specifically, it will provide insight to the role of EDIH DIGI-SI in the Slovenian ecosystem by including representatives of key European and Slovenian institutions.
The event will also feature a roundtable with EDIH DIGI-SI partners to further highlight the upcoming project activities and possibilities for SMEs and Public Administration.
Representatives of supporting institutions and initiatives will also participate to express their support and present opportunities for future collaboration.
The participants will have an opportunity to actively get to know all the EDIH DIGI-SI services through a physical and virtual tour of the EDIH Client journey.
