EU-Singapore Matchmaking Event

The European Commission (EC) will organise the EU – Singapore Matchmaking Event in the context of the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH), which will be held on November 8th – 12th, 2021.

The EU – Singapore Matchmaking Event will occur virtually on 11th and 12th November 2021.

The event will be jointly organised by the European Commission and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) - with the support of the EU Delegation to Singapore, the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry, and the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), and facilitated by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) including its local node “EEN Singapore”.

The EU – Singapore Matchmaking Event will gather cluster organisations and SMEs from European Union (EU), non-EU COSME countries and Singapore. It will provide a unique opportunity to promote Cluster to Cluster (C2C), Cluster to Business (C2B) and Business to Business (B2B) exchanges between the participants. The event will be organised virtually through the B2Match platform.

The overall objective of the event is to promote information exchange and networking opportunities for European cluster organisations (and their members) and companies with counterparts from Singapore. The overall objectives for the participants of the event include:

Explore trade, investment and partnering opportunities related to the event’s focus areas; and
Initiate discussions that would ultimately result in Letters of Interest, Memorandum of Understanding, and other types of partnership agreements.
