The event includes a full day focused on Energy Transition, Renewable Energies and Innovative Technologies for energy transition and circular economy. The event will include a conference panel with experts and institutions followed by a matchmaking session promoted by Innovate UK EDGE and the Enterprise Europe Network during which companies will have the opportunity to organise multiple one-to-one meetings with specialised and high-quality operators, in order to explore new commercial opportunities and boost their business.
The event will be run as a hybrid event but in person meetings will be encouraged.
International companies will be physically present at the event.

The Conference is organised in collaboration between Innovate UK EDGE, the Enterprise Europe Network and the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK. It is an unmissable conference on “Making energy transition a reality: Italy-UK collaborations towards Net-Zero” in collaboration with the Italian and British institutions, The conference will give companies the chance to discuss the future of energy transition, attending an exclusive panel and developing cross-countries collaboration between Italy and UK.
The conference will give the speakers (major Italian companies in the UK as ASACERT, whose CEO is the vice-president of Green Building Italy; and Italian and UK institutions working in the sector) the opportunity to discuss how to make Energy transition a reality while benefiting from international collaborations between Italy and the UK to achieve Net-Zero goals. Speakers will present case studies of their experiences, good practices and discuss initiatives promoted to develop cross-countries collaboration and benefit the society and the business ecosystem.
The conference sees contributions from the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Italian institutions in the UK. While among the key sponsors and partners there are ASACERT, Italian institutions in the UK as the Consulate of Italy in Manchester and the Italian Trade
Agency, the Energy Innovation Agency, the Enterprise Europe Network and several Universities, among them the University of Manchester’s Sustainable Materials Hub.
The conference will be open to a limited number of in-person guests.
Brokerage: Matchmaking Sessions
The business showcase and matchmaking part of the event will be organised by Innovate UK EDGE and the Enterprise Europe Network in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK. Ahead the panel, companies will also have the opportunity to organise multiple one-to-one meetings with specialised and high-quality operators, in order to explore new commercial opportunities and boost their business.
The matchmaking sessions are promoted by Innovate UKEDGE/EEN, the Enterprise Europe Network and several British and Italian Accelerators and Universities. Companies will be able to schedule their meetings online. Selected companies attending the event in person will be able to bring their banners and use the desks available for their speed -matchmaking in person.
Online meetings will be run in a separate area of the room.
