Description
The program aims to provide an opportunity for 5 Indian start-ups to access Europe through the Walloon/Belgian ecosystem.
The program will help the shortlisted startups to connect with corporate customers, partners, and/or Investors in Europe and will also provide an opportunity to scale up their business .
In April 2025: up to 5 Indian scaleups will be invited to Wallonia/Belgium for a full week of contacts and business meetings.
This is a collaborative approach between the Walloon foreign trade and investment agency (AWEX), Global Business Inroads, EEN India partner, Scientific Park of Pune, BITS BioCyTiH Foundation and Aspire BioNest which aims to assist the shortlisted Indian start-ups by providing them with the necessary support to consider establishing themselves in Wallonia, Belgium thereby offering them easier access to the European market and contributing to economic growth of the region.

Start-ups from the following sectors can apply: Biomanufacturing, Cell & Gene therapies, Medtech, E-health, Foodtech, Nutraceuticals, Batteries & EV, Cleantech (Hydrogen, Recycling, etc), IoT & AI, Cybertech.
The minimum requirements for the start-ups to apply:
• Proof-of-concept/first revenues
• Management team with sector experience
• Impact focused
• Scalable business model
• Deeptech/innovation-focused

2. Applicants will need to fill in the questionnaire to provide additional details about the company and its innovative solution.
3. Once registered, applicants will be invited to send their your executive summary in PDF (e-mail address provided at the end of your registration).
Executive summary including:
· General information: Title, background, initial results
· Information on project partners: Expertise and track record of the team, partners, available infrastructure
· Added value of your innovation project: Business model, competitive situation, USP, market analysis, potential for profitability
· Detailed innovative solution: Development status, innovative content, risk and ambition (e.g. level of technological maturity), feasibility of the results
· Project plan including schedule: quantitative objectives (technological, scientific, economic), risk analysis
· Financial part of the project: wage costs, material costs, funding, bootstrapping
· Pitch deck
