Description

"Win-Win, Gender Equality means Good Business" program is pleased to invite you to participate in the launch of the EEN B2B platform “Women steering the new economies” with the collaboration of the Eurochile Business Foundation.

Thanks to the contribution of the European Union we are calling women entrepreneurs and businesswomen from the energy, green solutions, and technology sectors, public sector entities that promote women-led businesses and their internationalization, international organizations, women entrepreneurs, businesswomen, women-led business associations in the energy, green solutions, and technology sectors to be part of this initiative.

The COVID-19 pandemic, therefore, requires an immediate, coordinated, people-centered and gender-sensitive response. Working in partnership with governments, companies, workers’ representatives and individuals is of utmost importance to mitigate the impact of the pandemic in people’s lives while addressing the specific risks and vulnerabilities faced by women and girls as a result of the deep inequalities and stereotypes that persist in society.

The platform “Women steering the new economies” seeks to promote the creation of networks and concrete business opportunities, trade, joint ventures, and innovation between women entrepreneurs and women-led businesses from Europe and Latin America, and the Caribbean

The objective of the event is to present how, through this platform, women entrepreneurs from the energy, green solutions, and technology sectors in the above-mentioned countries ways in which they can leverage this tool to learn about other women’s ventures, increase the visibility of their business, connect with other women entrepreneurs, and open the door to new markets and business opportunities.

The informative launch session will be the first event carried out under this joint initiative to make the introduction to the Enterprise Europe Network and its platform to support the connection between Europe and Latin America will take place. The launch will have the participation of: María Noel Vaeza – UN Women LAC Regional Director, Vinicious Carvalho - ILO LAC Regional Director, María Rosa Sabatelli – European Union, Programme Officer for the Partnership Instrument, Regional Team Americas, Luisa Prista - EASME, Jorge O'Ryan - ProChile, and two business cases (one from LAC and one from EU).
