This year’s Web Summit takes place from 5 to 8 November in Lisbon. Once again, it will bring together over 70,000 attendees from over 160 countries for what has become the world’s largest tech conference. European entrepreneurship will be on display, including innovative companies that have expanded across borders with the support of the Enterprise Europe Network.
Nova Innovation received the 2018 Enterprise Europe Network Award during the annual conference in Vienna. Nova's win celebrates the best example of impact of the Network over the past decade. The company delivered a novel idea: creating the world’s first grid compliant tidal energy turbines in Scotland, ahead of big multi-national energy companies. They did this thanks to the help of Network partner Scottish Enterprise and its ability to advise and connect them with the most promising partners and investors.
