The International SME Conference is the most important event dedicated to the private sector in Moldova and represents an open platform to facilitate the dialogue between central public authorities and business representatives.
The Conference aims to align SMEs to green economy principles by adopting a responsible model of sustainable development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. We acknowledge that green economy will enhance and promote inclusive economic growth, foster innovation and provide new opportunities by upgrading our abilities to manage natural resources sustainably with lower negative environmental impact, increase resource efficiency and reduce waste.
Traditionally, the Conference hosts the award ceremony of national contests: "The best entrepreneur from SME sector" and "SME - Sustainable Model of Social Responsibility". The competitions are organized by the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure and ODIMM to recognize the efforts made by SMEs for a sustainable and responsible growth.
