General information
- Short Summary
- The project aims to transform traditional ceramic manufacturing into a highly digitized, data-driven ecosystem. By leveraging a ceramic manufacturer’s extensive historical data, we will develop a Multi-Objective Optimization framework that synchronizes raw material standards, energy efficiency, and product quality.
- Full Description
-
A Turkish Ceramic Manufacturer is developing a project for the upcoming Eurostars call and looking for SMEs for collaboration. The project focuses on the development of decision support systems for sustainable ceramic manufacturing and is structured into three primary technical pillars:
I. Multi-Objective Optimization & Sustainability: By developing alternative raw material blends cost constraints are satisfied while maximizing sustainability and energy efficiency. Moreover operational boundaries will be defined to balance economic output with environmental impact (CO2 reduction, lower energy consumption).
II. Real-Time Monitoring & Prescriptive Support: Machine learning will be utilized to identify process deviations and real-time adjutsment suggestions will be provided.
III. Pilot Validation & Scalable Architecture: The technology will be validated at a pilot production line and will be ready for scalability to other sectors.
Another important point is that the candidate's country must be eligible for the Eurostars program. - Advantages and Innovations
- Quality consistency, resource efficiency, faster production cycles
- Technical Specification or Expertise Sought
- We are looking for experts in AI, ML algorithms and sensor technologies in order to develop a Multi-Objective Optimization framework, which will synchronize raw material standards, energy efficiency, and product quality. While doing this, extensive historical data of the system will be used. For this reason, big data, data management and analysis will also be the other cores of the project. Previous experience in Horizon programs will also be an advantage for participating in the consortium. The candidate's country must be eligible for the Eurostars program.
