Luffa is a plant native to Asia, similar to cucumber or squash. When fully matured, it develops a fibrous interior ideal for exfoliating sponges. The company has successfully cultivated and processed luffa in Albania, transforming it into high-quality skincare accessories. Actually, the company has started exporting in the German market.
The sponges are handmade through a meticulous, eco-conscious process. The production process includes
- Harvesting after 6 months of care
- Soaking and peeling the fruit
- Seed removal through shaking and pressure washing
- Sterilization with hot water
- Controlled drying in ventilated environments
- Final shaping through cutting, pressing, and sewing.
