This biogas power plant has recently been built in the south of Belgian Luxembourg.
In order to ensure a constant and optimal production and to meet the increasing energy demands of its clients, the company needs to enhance its supply of organic matter.
The power plant is seeking suppliers of agricultural organic matter to complement its current providers.
Suppliers should ideally be located in Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, or in the Northeastern departments of France.
The inputs must be clean and free from any foreign bodies. - Technical Specification or Expertise Sought

Type of inputs:
Only products from the agricultural sector.
- Wet: accepted.
- Dry: also accepted, provided they do not clog the grinder.
- Slurry: accepted.
- Manure: sufficient quantities are obtained from local farmers (except in summer when supply can sometimes be more limited).
- Wood: to be excluded, as the material must pass through the grinder without issue.
- Important: the material must be clean, free from contaminants.
Quantity:
Approximately 50 tonnes of material are used each day.
Methanogenic potential:
The necessary quantity depends heavily on the type of input and its methanogenic potential.
The higher this is, the less quantity will be required, and vice versa.
Supply:
- Ideally, suppliers deliver materials directly to the site.
- If this is not possible, collection may be considered if the distance remains reasonable; otherwise, transport by lorry must be arranged. - Stage of Development
