Full Description
A Bulgarian producer of collaborative robots, provides a control and management system for collaborative and industrial robots, designed to be operated using a joystick and intuitive software that features a digital twin. By moving the joystick through space, the system captures its trajectory and displays it graphically in the software. This trajectory can then be edited and replayed repeatedly by the robot or cobot.

The software also allows users to filter the robot's movements based on a specific plane, direction, or orientation, enabling precise applications. For example, when applying adhesive to a flat surface, the robot can be restricted to move within a single plane for controlled accuracy. Similarly, tasks like grinding weld seams benefit from straight-line motion along a single axis, ensuring even material removal and a polished appearance.

Without filtering, the system supports more intricate movements for tasks like painting, simulating the complex motions of a human hand.

The product operates in two primary modes:
In the first mode, positions are recorded as discrete points in space using a joystick button. These points are then connected by the robot using standard movement paths such as straight lines, arcs, circles, or freeform motions, optimized for the fastest transition between points. This is handled by the robot's software.
The second mode captures continuous joystick movements by holding the button down, allowing for the recording of more complex trajectories.

Once the desired trajectory is recorded, it can be refined using a variety of filters and editing tools within the software, after which the robot can execute the motion either once or multiple times. Additionally, the product offers a real-time mode, where the joystick’s movements are transmitted directly to the robot for immediate execution. This feature is particularly useful in hazardous or unhealthy environments or for handling heavy objects, such as in painting booths, blasting chambers, or during grinding processes that generate harmful dust.
It is also beneficial when dispensing adhesives with toxic fumes or using heavy glue guns. In real-time mode, the system simultaneously records the executed trajectory for future editing and repetition.
Advantages and Innovations
Unlike traditional graphical robot software, which demands technical skills and multiple steps to create programs for such intricate applications—often taking hours or days—the product simplifies the process. It completes these tasks in minutes, offering a practical solution for both real-time single-item production and small series through saved trajectory mode. This is especially beneficial for small and medium-sized enterprises, where long setup times for short production runs are not feasible.

The product is an innovative control and management system for robots and cobots, designed to automate complex and previously impractical tasks such as painting, grinding, varnishing, adhesive dispensing, blasting, and more.
Many of these applications, like painting, varnishing, and adhesive dispensing, expose workers to harmful fumes, dust, and materials that pose serious health risks. The product enables remote operation, allowing tasks to be performed safely without requiring workers to be present, either through pre-recorded programs or live parallel operation from a distance.

In addition to improving safety, the system's remote capabilities are ideal for sharing expertise across different locations and providing training without the constraints of distance.

The product empowers businesses, even small enterprises, to integrate collaborative and industrial robots into complex applications that were once out of reach.
