12 years ago the company was asked by the Dutch justice to develop a smart touch screen monitor for isolation cells in prisons and or psychiatric institutes. This screen should prevent patients from deprivation and trauma by providing autonomy and distraction. The last 12 years the company continued that development with Dutch justice and health department to make this system to the best standard.
The developed iSmart Touch gives autonomy to the patient and prevent deprivation and trauma. Times spend in isolation can be reduced and will be more human.
The company has 2 products for this health sector. The iSmart Touch monitor solutions (in several varieties) and the iSmart Detect device. The company also has Identify Verification and Biometric solutions and is active in 14 countries.
Their biometrics and identity products are used in more than 27 countries. With these self-management for the patients and monitoring solutions for staff they are market leader in the Netherlands and Belgium and now expanding to Germany (and also Austria and Switserland).
Due to this expansion, the company is looking for a technical installation and service partner, who is able to take care of the electronical technical first installation, the software set up and configuration at the customer (including KNX and domotics integration). Next to that, also the service in case of issues or technical support is needed.
The company provides with their iSmart Touch a touch screen monitor that is mounted in the wall or on the wall in isolation or time-out rooms. Their customers are psychiatric and forensic clinics, police and prisons.
