General information
- Short Summary
- The company is a Dutch Greentech startup that develops advanced indoor air quality devices and an AI-driven indoor climate intelligence and energy optimization platform for commercial and residential buildings. They offer modular indoor air quality devices combined with an AI-based data platform and they generate clear compliance ready insights and reports that support ESG and SDG reporting, indoor air quality guidelines and European requirements.
- Full Description
-
The trigger for the company came from a very personal experience. The founder noticed that several colleagues and at times he himself often felt unwell at work. Headaches, fatigue and people going home early became normal, and teams were constantly covering for each other. This did not feel like a normal workload issue, so he started to look deeper. That curiosity led to the discovery of how indoor air pollution, CO2 build up and poor ventilation directly affect health, focus and productivity.
This was a turning point. An invisible problem was quietly impacting people and businesses every day. People spend most of their time indoors and take tens of thousands of breaths, yet very few people know what they are breathing or how it affects their health, performance and energy use. It is a quiet health and climate challenge. Scientific studies show that elevated CO2, PM2.5 and VOCs are linked to reduced cognitive function, more absenteeism and long-term health risks.
Poor indoor air quality affects health, wellbeing and productivity. High CO₂ levels, fine dust and VOCs are linked to headaches, loss of concentration and long-term health risks. At the same time, buildings are responsible for 36% of total global-greenhouse-gas (GHG) emissions, and between 30% and 40% HVAC energy is simply wasted through over ventilation or inefficient control. Societies around the world are trying to create healthy, sustainable, and energy efficient buildings, meet ESG targets and contribute to the UN SDGs. The Dutch company addresses these challenges by giving building owners real insight into their indoor climate and by reducing unnecessary energy use.
The company has developed a complete indoor climate intelligence and energy optimization platform that combines modular indoor air quality devices with an AI-driven software layer. The devices measure CO₂, particulate matter, VOCs, temperature, humidity, light, noise and air pressure in real-time and can be adapted over time through swappable sensor capsules. The AI-based platform aggregates and analyses this data, provides predictive insights, and connects to Building Management Systems and other partner platforms through open interfaces. It can trigger ventilation adjustments, detect under- and over-ventilation, and calculate potential savings. On top of this they provide dashboards, alerts and reporting that support ESG and compliance with EU EPBD and Clean Air frameworks.
The company is based the Netherlands and has already deployed devices and solutions in multiple buildings. Their next step is to grow through international partnerships rather than trying to do everything alone. In the coming years their ambition is to expand into global markets and to position the stsartup as a reference platform for indoor climate intelligence that supports both energy transition goals and healthy building strategies.
They are looking for partners that already work with buildings and see indoor climate and decarbonisation as strategic topics. This includes ventilation and HVAC manufacturers and installers, Building Management System and building automation vendors, facility management companies, energy service providers, real estate and portfolio owners, and engineering or consultancy firms specialising in energy performance and ESG. They are also open to collaboration with universities, research institutes and innovation programmes that want to test and validate new approaches in living labs or real buildings. - Advantages and Innovations
-
The company helps solve two connected challenges at the same time. On one side, it improves health, comfort and cognitive performance by giving a clear view of what people breathe indoors and by helping keep CO₂, particulate matter and VOCs within healthy ranges. On the other side, it reduces unnecessary energy use from ventilation and conditioning, which directly supports decarbonization, cost savings and ESG goals.
Several aspects make this solution different from many existing indoor air quality and building monitoring solutions:
1. Modular hardware with swappable sensor capsules
2. Full stack approach from sensing to control
3. Designed for integration and partnership
4. Focus on the underserved mid-market building segment
5. Compliance and ESG by design
Taken together, these elements make the solution not just another air quality sensor, but an indoor climate intelligence layer that partners can use to create new services, meet societal challenges and differentiate themselves in their own markets. - Technical Specification or Expertise Sought
-
They are looking for partners that are already active in the built environment and energy space. This includes:
• Ventilation and HVAC manufacturers and installers
• Building Management System and building automation vendors
• Facility management companies and technical service providers
• Prop-tech and smart building solution providers
• Energy service companies and consultancies working on decarbonization and ESG
• Real estate owners, asset managers and workplace operators with multi building portfolios
• Universities, research institutes and living labs working on indoor climate and energy transition - Stage of Development

Partner Sought
- Expected Role of a Partner
-
Partners are expected to:
• Identify suitable buildings and customers for joint pilots or first projects
• Integrate the platform with their own systems or services, using their open interfaces
• Provide domain expertise in ventilation, building operation or facility services during the set up
• Allocate technical contacts to work with our team on configuration, data flows and testing
• Help evaluate the results, collect user feedback and define the next steps for scaling
• Support joint communication, for example references, case studies and where relevant co marketing toward their customer base
In short, they are looking for partners who want to bring smarter indoor climate and energy optimization to their customers and see the Dutch company as the technology layer that helps them do this in a scalable way. - Type and Size of Partner
