General information

Short Summary
The French company is an expert in the remanufacturing of used mobility batteries into stationnary batteries : storing energy stations.
In order to meet the growing demand, the company needs to secure a regular supply of batteries.
The French company is willing to enter into supplier agreements with european partners.
Full Description
The French company based in the Auvergne Rhône Alpes Region is an expert in the transformation of used car, trucks & forklift batteries into energy storage solutions (stationnary batteries).

A stationary battery is a device designed to accumulate and store electrical energy, particularly that generated by solar panels during periods of sunshine. Its role is to conserve solar energy and release it as needed, particularly during nighttime hours or on days with little sunshine, in order to provide an uninterrupted and reliable source of electrical power and reduce dependence on the conventional power grid.

The company offers a cost-effective alternative to destructive recycling.

In order to meet the growing demand for stationnary batteries, the French company needs to secure its sourcing of used batteries.
The feeds must be regular and of good quality (State of Health minimum of 80%).
Advantages and Innovations
The company offers a proven industrial reality, not just a project:
• Track Record: over 450 stationary storage units produced and deployed since 2023.
• Economic Advantage: the company transforms a waste management cost into a revenue stream (or cost reduction) by valorizing qualifying modules.
• Strategic Partnerships: the company collaborates with a major European automotive manufacturer and a leader in light electric vehicles to secure their circular economy loops.
• Safety First: full compliance with ADR transport regulations and EU safety standards.
Technical Specification or Expertise Sought
Mandatory chemistry : Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) only.
Origin: E-Bus, Trucks, Forklifts or production scraps / Industrial rejects (unused modules).
Strict exclusion: The company refuses batteries with corrosion, physical damage (crash), water ingress, or critical thermal defects.
State: End-of-First-Life (SOH > 80%) or surplus stock.

For information, the state of health (SoH) corresponds to the current capacity of the battery compared to its initial state. It is expressed as a percentage, so the SoH of new batteries is 100%, while a model at the end of its life will have a state of health of around 70 to 80%.
