The company will be able to offer cyber combat exercises using AI to personalise scenarios and make them realistic, as well as to evaluate trainees.

Cyber range technologies form a cornerstone of cyber defence training and testing.
- A french cybersecurity services company with a staff of 13 that is an integral part of the digital and cyber ecosystem in the Hauts de France region (Campus Cyber, EDIH).
- Their areas of expertise are: training, auditing, securing IT systems/infrastructures/solutions, crisis preparation, exercise and management.
- Their customers range from major accounts (e.g. SMEs) to start-ups and local authorities.
- They have developed expertise and resources in cybersecurity training : design, delivery, original teaching methods (hacker/hacked), cyber range space etc. They are able to adapt to different levels of technical expertise and different audiences ( the main customer for training is a major DIY distribution group).
- They have developed :
1 - Technical expertise in cyber ranges
o Technical expertise in the development of deployment platforms
o In-house development of a cyber range deployed entirely in the cloud
o Development of training exercises
o Good knowledge of industrial cyber ranges by providing services to one company dual technology leader for cyber range and a global IT leader for defence and security system.
2 - Expertise in the delivery of training and exercises
o Organisation of training courses with autonomous and ephemeral deployment of practical exercises based on cyber range
o Cyber crisis management training
o Implementation of a redteam/blueteam approach
3 - Proficiency of defense systems
o Each of the 3 co-founders has over 12 years' experience with a major defence manufacturer and the project manager in defence communications systems
o A team member is an operational reservist in French Army who evaluates staff during cyber wargames and participates in Lockshield events (blueteam).

Specific scope of this call :
Scope:
The next-generation cooperative cyber range capability must address at least the following issues :
• Set up of trainings and exercises with classified information, especially for cross-border exercises by EU Member States and EDF Associated Countries.
• Leveraging Artificial Intelligence throughout the delivery of trainings and exercises (e.g., for Blue, Red, White and Green Teams)
• Set up of trainings and exercises that leverage the concept of digital twins.
• Develop or facilitate a framework for accreditation of training centres and personnel skill levels.
The French cybersecurity company can propose the following contributions:
- Creation of a cyber range of organizational exercises to train participants to manage situations by making decisions
- Usage of AI to personalize learner training based on answers given to an assessment test.
- Generating different scenarios throw the usage of AI based on real-life exercises.
- Creation of different scenarios: human vs. AI (attack/defense) based on AI-generated event injection
- Creation of different AI chatbot-type companion to increase the participant's efficiency by helping him/her to make decisions. - Advantages and Innovations
