General information
- Short Summary
- The company, based in France, was established to develop a new patented tool for timber construction. This tool offers an innovative technical solution for plank, cladding, panel, surface, and roof pitch work. Primarily, it targets carpenters, joiners, craftsmen working with wood, and landscapers in markets where wood is the predominant building material, particularly in Northern Europe and America.
- Full Description
-
The company, based in France, was founded to develop a new woodworking tool. The founder, a carpenter with over 30 years of experience, conceived the idea of creating this tool to streamline his work and save time.
The tool is a board straightener equipped with an innovative adjustment and clamping mechanism, specifically designed to be highly effective for assembling wooden planks (flooring, cladding, woodwork, wall paneling, roof underlayment, etc.). It also simplifies tasks in carpentry workshops, as well as in mechanical and welding work.
Carpenters possess expert knowledge when it comes to working with wooden planks that have been warped due to machining, storage, or transportation, which must be straightened during installation to ensure even joints and high-quality results.
There are tools available on the market that attempt to address the needs of such wooden planks, but they are not widely used within the profession as they fail to provide an effective technical solution.
Our tool offers an optimal technical solution and is designed to be versatile, adapting to different installation configurations. It is simple, intuitive to use, and reversible, suitable for both right and left-handed users.
Several prototypes have been produced and tested on-site by woodworking professionals, who have confirmed its value. This new tool is protected by a European patent and has undergone extensive usability and technical optimization studies, resulting in a highly efficient and robust product.
The project is now in its final stage of development, and we are seeking a commercial partner to distribute and/or market it—ideally with experience in selling tools to professionals or in the timber trade. This new tool is poised to be a success among professionals and private carpenters alike.
Sales will commence in France in 2025.
We will also be highly attentive to any support that could be offered in terms of logistics and marketing. - Advantages and Innovations
