The German family business successfully sells various consumer products online. New products are continuously added to their portfolio. Their products are sold under their own brand via well-known international online market places and in the company's own online shop. Trade takes place mainly to end customers (B2C) and, to a small extent, also to business customers. The company has its headquarters and warehouse in central Germany with a direct connection to the largest motorways and thus a good infrastructure connection.
The company is now looking for manufacturers of wesp spray according the following specifications:
1. Product Specification
Product type: Wasp repellent spray with barrier effect
Mode of action: Repellent or insecticide (depending on approval)
Effective against: Wasps (primary), also against flies, spiders, silverfish
Function: Repels wasps, prevents nest building, acts as a barrier
2. Formulation & Active Ingredients
Preferred: Natural or plant-based active ingredients (for broader target audience)
Alternative: Pyrethroids or other approved biocides according to BPR
No propellants containing HFCs or CFCs
3. Product Safety & Certifications
Labeling according to CLP / GHS (EU-compliant)
Safety Data Sheet (SDS / MSDS) in German and English
Biocide approval (BPR) for Germany and EU
Product registration with the BAuA (Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health)
REACH-compliant
4. Packaging
Can: Aluminum or tinplate with spray head + extension tube
Volume: 500 ml (as with reference product)
Label: High-resolution, waterproof, space for A+ content messaging, design: modern insect repellent theme, own brand
Spray head: Ergonomic, with fine spray for targeted application
5. Shelf Life
Minimum shelf life: 24 months
Storage: No special conditions except 'cool and dry'
6. Production Requirements
