A German SME being active in developing medical products for an optimised clinical and everyday care has the objective to formulate success-oriented solutions for issues arising in the everyday care. This time they were successful in developing a packaging system consisting of film pouches of various sizes in red and green. Red means contaminated and green clean.These bags are translucent so that it is possible to see the content and furthermore they have an adhesive seal that cannot be opened without destroying it. The film bags must furthermore have a width of 90 cm with perforations for tear-off, a special adhesive closure and a print on rolls ready for sale. An advantage would be if the material is biodegradable. It would also be possible to choose a robust paper with a viewing window.
This packaging system totally complies with the guidelines of the SPECTRAIS trade association as well as the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) They are now looking for manufacturers who can supply this company with film bags as described before.
