The Bolivian Brazil nut that represents some 60% of the total production of the nuts, has a high ecological impact on the Amazon rainforest because the peculiarity that needs around 30 years to bear the first fruits.

These trees only reproduce through natural pollination and as it was indicated, the first fruits only appear after thirty or forty years. The greater or lesser harvest is determined only by the stability of the climate, that is to say if there are climatic phenomena like droughts or floods the volumes are affected.

Brazil nut oil boosts the immune system thanks to its high nutritional value, antioxidant properties and provides the body with energy for everyday activities.

It is a great source of many vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, C and E), omega 6 and 9 fatty acids and trace elements (sodium, magnesium, selenium, potassium, calcium, iron, copper, phosphorus and zinc). It is a great addition to vegetarian and vegan diets.

The importance of this fruit to the Amazonian north of Bolivia is vital, since it moves 75 percent of its economy and more than 10 thousand families, among peasants, indigenous and country persons are involved in the collection. The nuts grow wild so their use has no negative impact on the Amazon rainforest.

The company imports high quality brazil nut oil that is cold pressed and dispatched to the Czech Republic immediately after extraction. It also imports brail nut bran.

The also offers premium gluten free Brazil nut flour, a semi-defatted protein meal made of Brazil nuts and thus keeps all of its essential nutrients. The Brazil nut inshell is cleaned and selected, to eliminate impurities, damaged and defective pieces. It is then processed, peeled, trimmed and dehydrated in ovens at 75°C for 14 hours on average. Finally, the nut is cold pressed, and the flour is produced by pressure in the worm screw, and comes out in flakes, then granulated in the mill, semi dry separated from the oil.
