General information
- Short Summary
-
This Italian IT company offers a concept for an electronic device designed for advanced and automated monitoring and control of emissions from heating systems. It represents a new paradigm in environmental monitoring, featuring a smart-based vision that constitutes a significant process innovation compared to the current modus operandi.
The company is seeking partners within the framework of investment agreements, R&D cooperation, and commercial partnerships, aimed at the concept development. - Full Description
-
Established in 1994, this Italian IT company is a micro-enterprise with 4 employees, including 3 computer engineers. It operates in the field of Software Development & Consulting – R&D, delivering complex and innovative projects through the use of cutting-edge Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
The company’s mission is to support Public Administrations (PAs) and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the development of software solutions and IT services. The company operates primarily in the Public Sector, Finance, and Telecommunications markets, with a focus on the following areas: Enterprise Knowledge Management; Enterprise Process Management; E-Business; E-Government etc...
The company offers a concept, an electronic device designed to perform advanced and automated monitoring and control of emissions from heating systems. It enables continuous oversight of the plant throughout its entire operational window and allows for in-depth analysis of the flue gases produced. The solution has a significant impact on several fronts: it contributes to environmental protection, particularly in terms of air quality; it enhances the safety of heating systems; and it supports the fiscal monitoring responsibilities of local public administrations, which are by definition the competent authorities tasked with governance and supervision. The device can interface with existing heating systems or be natively integrated into newly manufactured units. It aims to redefine the current paradigm of environmental monitoring through a smart-based vision that represents a notable process innovation compared to the conventional approach. Its implementation allows for real-time, continuous monitoring of emissions, ensures compliance with legally permitted thresholds and ranges, and enables the periodic remote transmission of collected data to a central control unit for analysis and regulatory checks. The hardware consists of a scalable external casing, produced using custom 3D-printed molds, which houses the internal technological components. Externally, the device is equipped with a probe connected to the flue pipe, featuring a flexible ring adaptable to various models on the market; a micro-antenna that ensures the periodic radio transmission of data using the free frequency band 169.400-169.475 MHz, which is legally designated for data transmission; and a multifunction digital display. Among its main features, the system includes the digital identification of the heating unit, real-time monitoring of boiler emissions via a combustion analyzer with O₂ and CO sensors (up to 4,000 ppm), a compact flue gas probe (160 mm, Ø 6 mm, Tmax. 500°C), a flexible connection hose, and a fixing cone (e.g., item code 0600 9740). In case of threshold exceedance, the system triggers an alert and automatically sends a notification to the central unit, along with a digital request for technical intervention within 6 hours. A dormant, remotely activated ambient sensor is also included, allowing the detection of nearby statistical environmental values and interaction with the central unit. Communication is supported by an M2M (machine-to-machine) SIM card, enabling automatic data exchange without human intervention. Overall, the system offers a reliable, smart, and scalable solution for emissions monitoring in compliance with current environmental and safety regulations.
The company is seeking partners within the framework of investment agreements, R&D cooperation, and commercial partnerships with technical support, aimed at the development of the concept. - Advantages and Innovations
