- A Spanish technology centre is preparing a proposal for the CL4-2025-05-TT-35-two-stage. The proposal aims to implement sustainable circular schemes for valorising stainless-steel slag (SSS) materials. They are looking for two Ukrainian partners: a non-profit one for communication and dissemination activities, and an industrial partner (either provider of material or end user). A Spanish technology centre with a wide expertise experience in European projects is preparing a proposal that aims to implement sustainable circular schemes for valorising stainless-steel slag (SSS) materials. The proposal aims to implement upcycling of stainless-steel slag (SSS) into high-value materials that can replace primary resources in net-zero technologies, fertilisers, construction and aeronautic sectors, based on breakthrough technologies and leading to a zero-carbon and viable steel business making process.
The project is intended to integrate technology development, process digitalization and implementation for end-of-life steel residues to offer diversification opportunities for primary producers, recyclers, formulators and end users.
The proposal will be submitted to the Horizon Europe call: HORIZON-CL4-2025-05-TWIN-TRANSITION-35-two-stage due on 23rd September.
The technology centre is looking for at least one non-profit partner and at least one industrial partner established and located in Ukraine.
The role of the non-profit partner is dedicated to communication and dissemination actions.
The role of the industrial partner might be:
i) end-user in one of these sectors: fertiliser / net zero technology / construction / plastic / cosmetic. The project will generate products based on stainless steel slag, rich in CaO, SiO₂, MgO, Fe₂O₃ / FeO.
ii) residue provider of stainless steel slag

On the other side, the consortium is looking for an industrial partner that might be:
