The pressiometric fabric sleeves must be expandable. A French SME manufacturer of pressuremeter probes is seeking a company able to manufacture rubber sheaths and membranes. A probe is made of two products that must be assembled with the membrane under the sheath. Both must be inflatable.
Minimal specifications :
The membranes and sheaths on pressuremeter probes must have the following diameter : 60 and 44 (definition of the nominal external diameter of the probes according to NF P 94-110-04).
All other mechanical requirements of these products remain under the professional control of the manufacturer. The membranes and sheaths protect and optimise the mechanical system.
The company sought must be a manufacturer and able to deliver the membranes and the sheaths with the following specifications :
- Membranes
Type : extruded rubber membrane without reinforcement fabric
Shape : cylindrical
Delivering shape : rounded and not flat
- Sheaths
Inflatable rubber sleeve with or without reinforcement fabric
Shape : cylindrical
The actual needs per year are : 1000 products x diam. 44 and 1000 x diam. 60
If the products really fit, sales' amount can quickly increase to 3000 products (for each diameter) per year. - Technical Specification or Expertise Sought
- Specifications indicated in the description must be fullfilled. The company sought must not only have the know-how to work rubber but also to produce the sheaths with the reinforcement fabric (textile). It could be a manufacturer of compensating sleeves (same know-how). Detailed technical specifications are available. A NDA will be signed.
