Full Description
The Turkish University is in collaboration with other stakeholders in the region and established a consortium for the submission of their project for the Black Sea Basin Programme. Detailed information about the proposed project is below;

Priority 1: Blue and Smart Region, Field of Action-1: Use of innovative technological developments, including enhancement and application of Artificial Intelligence technologies, in support of the blue economy.

The consortium leader is looking for partners;
🔎 Expert in Aquatic Animal Behaviour:
- In-depth understanding of aquatic animal behaviour, stress responses and welfare.
- Experience applying behavioural science to improve aquaculture practices.
- Ability to translate behavioural data into actionable insights for aquaculture management.

🔎 Expert in Artificial Intelligence Image Analysis
- Ability to develop and apply artificial intelligence algorithms for image processing and data analysis.
- Experience with real-time monitoring systems in aquaculture or similar fields.
- Skills in machine learning, computer vision and related technologies to analyse fish growth and health indicators.

The project will revolutionize sustainable aquaculture in the Black Sea region by leveraging AI-driven systems to optimize feeding strategies, monitor environmental parameters, and improve fish welfare, leading to a 20% reduction in feeding costs and a 15% increase in fish growth rates.
