This has proven quite complex technically as any solution needs to understand with great accuracy where the passengers are.
A UK company has been implementing indoor navigation solutions for many years. Their key advantage is locating any person or object of interest with a 1-metre accuracy even in underground.
This platform later allowed to add virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) applications to illustrate in an easy way what can be found around the passenger. See the phone screen below. They are already making lives easier for both disabled, vulnerable and ordinary people.
