The Romanian NGO is an intercommunity cooperation structure, of public utility, aiming to support the sustainable and balanced development of local communities in Ialomipa County.
It is one of the largest intercommunity associations in the country, bringing together 66 administrative-territorial units – cities and communes/villages in the county – which collaborate to implement projects of major public interest, aimed at increasing the quality of life of citizens, modernizing local infrastructure, increasing efficiency and public services and reducing disparities between rural and urban.
In order to strengthen administrative capacities, to develop local infrastructure and support the digital and green transition in Ialomipa County, our association is looking for collaborations with:
- local and county public authorities, for the development and implementation of joint projects;
- Regional Development Agencies and other Intercommunity Development Associations in the region, for exchanging good practices and intercommunity projects;
- public institutions, NGOs and the private sector, for the development of modern and sustainable public services;
Also for a sustainable local and regional development, an exchange of good practices in public management and social inclusion and the development of transnational projects focused on citizens' rights, accessibility and innovative public services, digitalization, associated infrastructure we are looking for collaborations with:
• local and regional authorities from EU or non-EU member states, networks of municipalities and intercommunity associations;
• non-governmental organizations and academic entities involved in areas such as social inclusion, digitalization and local innovation, sustainable development;
• European partners with experience in CERv, Interreg Danube Region, LIFE or Horizon Europe projects, or other programmes, interested in cooperation on topics of local governance, social inclusion, civic participation and sustainable development.
The NGO is a strategic actor at the county level, collaborating closely with the Ialomita County Council, local authorities and other institutional partners to develop projects and capitalize on funding opportunities . Since 2018, the Association has implemented the County Local Development Program, ensuring financing, evaluation, monitoring of the 214 projects aiming local development, implemented by the local authorithies from Ialomita County.
With expertise in project management, sustainable development, technical consultancy and support for public administrations, the company facilitates the implementation of projects with a major impact on the quality of life, by providing a common decision-making framework for prioritizing investments.
