- A Turkish state university is developing a proposal for HORIZON-CL5-2024-D6-01-08 call and looking for partners for the implementation of the pilot-scale solutions. The project intends to employ digital technology to improve the performance of European cities' transportation infrastructure by optimizing traffic flows and density, and reducing congestion and emissions. Roadway, motorway, and pedestrian congestion are considered as problems.

A Turkish university has identified the consortium members and looking for a partner from municipalities for the implementation of the proposed solutions.
As a part of the call, the proposed solutions needs to be implemented in 3 pilot cities, with different selection criteria. Currently, they are looking governance partners from cities that have high-density traffic in terms of roadway, waterways, cycling roads and pedestrians.
This action aims to use digital technologies to improve the performance and sustainability of transport infrastructure in European cities. Through the integration of Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data analytics, it is aimed to optimize traffic flows and density, reduce congestion, reduce emissions and improve overall transportation safety and efficiency, and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. - Stage of Development
