Full Description
A renowned Italian SME (Small Medium Enterprise) who developed a comprehensive solution to (a) anonymise and (b) augment data. They are looking for (a) clients and (b) integration partners to accelerate the deployments. They are also looking for (c) partners in EU projects related to big data and artificial intelligence, the European Health Data Space, and/or synthetic data sandboxes.
The Italian SME was established in 2018 and is one of the pioneers in synthetic data technology. They work closely with academia and research centres to ensure their solutions are the latest in the field of security and Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PET).
The company developed a software platform and is now ready to scale.
They are looking for:
(a) businesses with a significant amount of personal data who want to unlock its value for applications such as advanced analytics, BI (Business Intelligence), AI (Artificial Intelligence), data sharing;
(b) integration partners such as IT consultancies that can integrate their solution and offer it to their own clients;
(c) partners to collaborate with on EU projects related to big data and AI, the European Health Data Space, and/or synthetic data sandboxes.
Advantages and Innovations
The company offers a software platform that allows clients to extract value from their data. The software infers the properties of the original data without memorising any of the personal information, and uses the latest advancements in generative AI to create an entirely artificial dataset with the same statistical profile. This synthetic dataset can be safely used for data analysis.
The synthetic data technology has the following advantages:
● Preserves the privacy of the original data records thanks to its anonymisation technology that inhibits re-identification;
● Unlocks the value of original data by anonymising personal data whose usage is otherwise restricted due to privacy regulations;
● Enables several use cases, such as shareability and data retention. Once the synthetic dataset is created it can be reused for different purposes and for an indefinite amount of time, unlike real data;
● Helps compliance with the latest regulations regarding data protection (e.g. GDPR) and AI systems (e.g. AI Act).
