General information
- Short Summary
- This UK SME has developed a patent-pending, highly innovative product called Sustainability Units. The company now offers a commission-based partnership program under commercial agreement. Potential partners will be introducing these Sustainability Units to other companies/public sector organisations, that would like to achieve their Sustainable/CSR/ESG and UN Sustainable Development Goals, for example reduced CO2, NetZero, improved human health, social improvement, regeneration of soil, etc.
- Full Description
-
Sustainability Units help solve the no.1 issue in the sustainability industry - budget. Companies are now able to meet their sustainability targets without giving away any net assets. This:
1. Encourages increased spend on sustainability to the benefit of Planet and Society.
2. Opens the market to a much wider range of companies who were unable to spend on sustainability.
3. Is an obvious and beneficial strategic choice – companies prefer to keep assets rather than give them away.
Other benefits include:
- They simplify the issue of sustainable metrics -providing a simple dashboard showing exact direct impact improvements and further quantitative/ qualitative information.
- These easy-to-consume detailed sustainable metrics are easy to report, pass to clients, employees and suppliers and measure against targets, giving feedback on the sustainable benefits specifically related to each company’s purchase, thus clarifying what is being delivered.
- The company’s ecosystem also allows clients to transfer their Units at zero cost, for example, to provide an employee sustainable bonus program – one which has both financial and planet/social benefits – thus aligning employees with the same sustainable program as the company, increasing loyalty, commitment and satisfaction.
The company’s longer-term aim is to become one of the top three strategic choices at board and decision-maker level for sustainable spend in 15% of companies, winning a regular yearly budget allocation. - Advantages and Innovations
-
Sustainability Units are a new type of product and a unique global innovation. They allow companies to achieve a wide range of sustainable goals (indicated above) while retaining company assets and receiving increased value both in direct impact and financially.
Sustainability Units are a new and better strategic choice for companies compared to other types of sustainable spend where money is given away, for example on salaries, direct impact projects, donations, internal sustainability programs or other sustainable spend. - Stage of Development

Partner Sought
- Expected Role of a Partner
-
UK company is seeking:
- sustainability advisers, strategists, consultants and firms supporting clients with sustainability strategy/spend and
- introducers - those individuals and companies dealing with board, financial or sustainable decision-making and advisory topics inside companies.
Potential partners will be in contact with clients who are/will be deciding / making a strategic choice for their sustainable/CSRESG spend or who are interested in such a spend.
They will introduce Sustainability Units, explaining the clear benefits compared to other (strategic) choices. Interested clients will be handed over to the UK SME for deeper explanation/ deal closing and/or in certain circumstances, the partner may handle the full process from introduction to close on our behalf.
The result is that clients will make a choice to allocate a percentage of their sustainable spend to Sustainability Units. - Type and Size of Partner
