The medium sized family business from Belgium is specialized in the development and production of single-use plastic food packaging. It offers a wide range of products, from cups and trays, to containers for ice cream or vegetables and ready meals. As the machinery works with a range of materials to make finished plastic packaging, the company opts for polystyrene, polypropylene, APET or polyethylene, depending on the application needed.
The advantages of their applied techniques of thermoforming and injection moulding are - among other things - that all packaging can be tailor made: the client can define its own volume, size, color, resistance to cold or hot temperatures, microwavable, freezable etc. Both techniques have their own characteristics and benefits.
Not only does the company uses state of the art technology, it is also experiments with sustainable, renewable and recyclable materials such as bioplastics. The results are already very promising and it has great potential for the near future.
With regards to decoration of packaging there are different techniques possible. The production plant has the tools to carry out IML (In Mould Labelling) for injection moulded packaging. The company also offers dry offset printing of their produced packaging. By using this two decoration types, it can offer the customer a tailormade solution whenever needed and create unique effects on the plastic packaging.
