Founded in 2019, the Belgian SME proposes a revolutionary constructive mode in insulated wood frame. Its goal is to simplify the construction and to propose a system of single-family houses in simple and powerful kits composed of blocks of insulated wood to stack.
The system has been validated by consultants in stability, acoustics and energy performance, and is patented since 2019.
The concept is essentially composed of isolated blocks to form the external and internal elevation walls, a suitable floor system as well as isolated beams and lintels. These elements are necessary to assemble the insulated frame of the building. This process makes it possible, among other things, to avoid the excess of waste related to the on-site shaping.
Once the assembly is finished, comes the realization of the frame and roof and the completion of the outside of the home with the finish of the client's choice (plaster, brick, cladding, ...). The interior, meanwhile will be ready first for the execution of different special techniques (thanks to the space left between the rafters) and in a second time for finishing (OBS + plasterboard, ...) .
The assembly of the system is extremely fast and does not require drying time.
The concept allows a continuous chain of different trades involved in the realization of the house.
The blocks are made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) and oriented strand board wood (OBS) and are embedded one onto another. This is like a Lego® process.
The glue used in the manufacture of OSB (Class 3 & 4) used to make the elements does not contain formaldehyde.
The company proposes the realization of the client's plans according to their embedding constructive mode. They will provide guidance on the development of the foundation slab and laying the first bed of cellular blocks.
The Belgian SME is now willing to expand its product on the international market. Therefore it is looking for long-term cooperation with real estate agents, construction enterprises, engineering and design offices, architects... The cooperation will take the form of a distribution agreement.
