Bulgarian producer of steel and cast iron castings is looking for partners under manufacturing agreement and subcontracting

Description
The Bulgarian company was created in 1965. The majority of its production is for external market. Their customers are mainly from Finland, Germany, England, and France.
The current number of the company's personnel is 195. The total area of the company is 105 000 sq. m. The company is able to cast parts from 10.00 kg up to 8000 kg single weight. There is a mechanical workshop where the rough and final machining is executed by universal and CNC. Quality control is guaranteed by means of Destructive and Non-destructive tests, spectral analysis, chemical analysis, metallographic analysis.
The engineering department of the Bulgarian company works with AUTOCAD MECHANICAL, NX and Magma Soft. The plant has its own patterns making shop. The patterns are made of wood, epoxide resine or metal. Depending on the size of the castings, the moulding process is completed in one of the following departments: machine moulding area, mechanized area for middle dimensions castings, and hand moulding area. The foundry has the following melting capacities:
- 2x8000 kg electric furnaces;
- 2x1600 kg induction furnaces;
- 2x2000 kg induction furnaces.
The casting process is controlled by contact measurement of the temperature – by using submerged thermo couples. The castings’ cleaning is done in shot blasting machines. The rough cleaning is made by hand, with pneumatic guns, and the fine cleaning – in shot blasting drums and chambers with 2 mm grain size.
The heat treatment possibilities in the company are determined by the available equipment in the foundry. The treatment is done in heat-treating furnaces:
- 2 pcs Gas furnace having a 4900x2200x1700mm working chamber;
- 3 pcs Electric furnace having a 1000x900x1900 mm working chamber;
- an electric furnace having a 3000x2000x2000mm working chamber;
- an oil quenching bath having a 2000x3000x1000 mm size, water quenching.
The highest level of the heating temperature is 1100 degree Celsius. The large portfolio of steel and cast iron grades, as well as the wide range of products’ dimensions and single weights, helps the company being flexible and able to satisfy their clients’ specific requirements.
Having in mind its production capacity, the Bulgarian company is looking for international partnership under subcontracting and manufacturing agreement. Future partners are expected to place their orders and specify product type and quantity in advance.
