Partner sought

Cooperation area:
The company is looking for international business cooperation under contract manufacturer agreement and/or to get involved in a joint venture. The company wants to promote the high quality of the original traditional Bulgarian natural products on the international markets. The company is looking for partners who are producers of teas, food supplements, pharmaceutical products, cosmetics, perfumes, soaps, as well as such who operate in the sphere of spa services or offer spa products. The company is looking for manufacturing agreement where certain products can be produced or where the client can order spectra of one product, for example - rose oil, rose absolute, rose concrete, and rose water. The Bulgarian company is also interested in a joint venture agreement where a new product can be developed. For a joint venture, the Bulgarian company has at its disposal the following: distillery facility, bottling machine for natural healthy drinks, facility for botanical extracts production, tableting machine (for both – for solid forms as well as for jelly pearls). Based on the fact that the company is in direct contact with natural products (herbs and medicinal plants), they could process them in fresh form (via distillation), in dry shape (to obtain dry medicinal herbs), in extraction (via extraction process to obtain high levels of their active ingredients) and in the same time to obtain still ready extraction products (liquid and powdered) to be made in tablet forms – as pills or in jelly pearls. For that purpose, the Bulgarian company is in position to provide these projects with different kinds of terrains in the industrial part of the city and also qualified personnel to be a partner with some companies in the JV. This foreign company, partner in the joint venture, is required to be already present in its market and to be well established there. There should be a demand on the products intended to be produced. The priorities to make a joint venture in Bulgaria, would be: - low tax rates; - still low salaries, compared to developed countries such as the United States, Canada, Germany, Scandinavia. The foreign company in the joint venture could be certified for the production of food supplements, and why not for dosage forms (some kind of pills). JV could become a company that owns several patented medicinal products. The JV could fit into the risky and capital investments of a large pharmaceutical giant in order to take part of its production on the territory of Bulgaria. Another benefit of a joint venture with the Bulgarian company is the company’s location – it is positioned in the geographical centre of Bulgaria, close enough to any location in the country, which facilitates transportation. Based on the free terrains the company has, certain essential oilseeds could be grown on them. If there is interest in oil-bearing rose, lavender, chamomile, etc. they could be cultivated in close proximity. Other plus is the rich Bulgarian flora - forests, mountains, lakes, fresh air and free water sources.
