In the 5G era, where the hardware is a commodity and the added value comes from the software, a Spanish Telecom SME has developed an embedded software that provides the Access Points (APs) with cognitive capabilities, allowing them to sense their environment, to exchange information with neighbouring APs and to cooperate between them to ensure an efficient use of wireless resources.

This technology brings distributed intelligence to any WiFi network, controlling radio resources and maximizing the performance for every user.

Some of the most important features of this technology are:

a) It enables WiFi APs to become intelligent fulfilling their potential capabilities and automatically taking real-time decisions to optimise the wireless performance for every connected user.

b) Multi-platform and hardware-agnostic.

c) Embedded software that can be installed on a myriad of WiFi devices.

This technology can galvanize a WiFi network.

e) Self optimized via artificial intelligence methods in order to automatically optimise radio and logic resources.
