There are some 20 million bicycles sold in the European Union annually. But parking a bike securely is a problem as the statistics shows, that 72 % of bicycles are stolen from public places and only 0,5% of stolen value is returned back to affected persons.
To reduce such terrible crime-rate and to bring a new product suitable for current smart cities´ expansion, the Czech SME offers its smart bicycle stand with built-in charger for electric bicycles.
The bicycle stand is fully autonomous and user unlocks it with a contactless card. Safety is ensured by an armoured chain and cannot be overcome with lever pliers. The stand is managed over the internet and it is equipped with a solar-charger, to maintain stand´s operation, not bicycles´s charging. The SME is interested in partnership with companies involved in smart cities projects, municipal transportation projects, and local transportation projects (schools, real estate developers, companies).
The company is also preparing a modification of this bike-stand for development projects (like a parking rack for up to 8 electro-bicycles requiring one parking stall and including a possibility of local bikesharing for tenants).
The company is seeking to expand to EU markets and therefore, it is looking for a local companies that are involved in municipal transportation projects, in smart cities projects and/local transportation projects (companies, schools and real estate developers). The company would like to enter in a longterm relationship within commercial agency agreement.
