A French SME specialized in the field of chemistry offers precursors to create Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs). Those MOFs are very specific porous 3D materials which have a high thermal stability and a well ranked porosity obtained by the assembly of metallic entities with organic ligands.
MOFs can be useful in several industry applications: gas adsorption/purification/storage, hydrogen catalysis, biomedical imaging and sensing, semiconductors, drug delivery systems, carbon capture, dehumidification, detection and sensing, toxic gas degradation/capture, water-treatment, air filtration and contaminant removal.
The company has strong knowledges for the tailor-made design, synthesis and scale-up (until kg-scale) of linkers, coupling agents and ligands. According to its strong background in organic chemistry, the company also provides new ligands on-demand in the Phosphorus, Sulfur, Silicon and Carbonyl chemistry.
The company is looking for partnership with industrial end-users or R&D services companies from chemistry, pharmaceutical or energy sectors through technical cooperation agreement.
The company is also interested to participate in European research projects involving chemistry or pharmaceuticals industries, as member of consortium or as subcontractor.
