The client is a Dutch, family owned SME with a Royal denomination and a long track record in wound care. More than 130 years of experience with successful innovations. Nowadays they are a worldwide supplier of products to treat minor skin ailments. Products are sold through pharmacies and drugstores. All are available without prescription of a General Practitioner. All products are listed as ‘cosmetics' or Medical Device Class-2a.

In the last 25 years the company has also developed multiple cryotherapy products to treat warts and other minor skin ailments. It also offers a small range of natural oils, lotions and crèmes.
All products are sold with attractive margins for retailers and distributors. In most of the international markets the main product is market leader with growing market shares.

The company is audited regularly and has all relevant registrations and certifications.

In order to expand their international business further the company wants to get in contact with distributors, retailers or wholesalers in all European countries. This includes the countries where they are already present. When sales results prove satisfactory, per product exclusivity can be negotiated. The client focuses on results and long term relationships.

The client is looking for distributors with an established network of pharmacies and drugstores in its country. Moreover it should be familiar with self-care medical consumer products, OTC products and experience in marketing and sales to both pharmacies/drugstores and end-consumers. Distributors who have a strong and well-known brand in their country of origin may sell the client's products under their own name. However, the distributor is also welcome to use the client's name to sell its products. This will be discussed in further detail when cooperation negotiations have started. If results are satisfactory, per product exclusivity can be negotiated. The client's products are certified in almost all European countries. However, if the products need (additional) certification, this will be the responsiblity of the partner. Nonethelss, the client will stay responsible for the quality of the product, packaging and user instructions.
