The Dutch organization, that is a spin-off from a Product Information Management supplier, has developed a smart solution to help wholesalers to save time and effort in matching their offers to the requests of large clients (depending on the current solution the savings in time are a factor 10 to 60 !).
Where in current practice large clients send out "self-made" product lists and require the wholesaler to quote or deliver these products as quickly as possible, in many cases the wholesaler first needs to translate this product list into known product codes. Until now this has always been time consuming manual labour.
The fast and reliable solution of the Dutch organization combines product data from multiple offline and online resources, transforming the wholesaler's own product data into a rich set of product content. The software considerably reduces the amount of time needed for matching the customers request to the product portfolio. In addition to just offering 1-on-1 matching, the software can also independently propose alternatives such as products with a faster delivery time, a lower price or a higher margin.
The Dutch organization is looking to enter into a commercial agency agreement with (IT) organizations that already have relationships with wholesale organizations offering a large product range. These can be wholesalers in a wide variety of sectors, like (but not limited to) technical products, construction, machine and spare parts.
The solution is Software as a Service (SaaS), so updates are be provided centrally and available for all users. The solution is offered on the basis of licences.
