An Estonia company operates in construction of residential and non-residential buildings sector. They are producing A-frame prefabricated home kits, which are up to 30% cheaper to build than the traditional houses.
A-frame houses are designed to last in extreme conditions. For example it can stand earthquakes since the center of gravity is in the middle. The houses can stand very snowy conditions - because of the roof angle, the snow will fall off.
Through long product development process the company has created 11 house models. Product line contains campsites, garden cottages, smaller summer and dwelling houses, and large dwelling houses. All of them are optimized for low shipping/building cost and affordable utility and maintenance. The product line has a little cabins, summer homes and up to a big dwelling houses.
Why a-frames? A-frame houses are up to 30% cheaper to build. The saving comes mainly from the triangular shape and different engineering solutions. They are designed to last in extreme conditions like rain, humidity, snow, cold, warm, earthquakes etc. A-frame kits are very compact to transport worldwide.
The company was founded in 2016 and has already representatives in Japan, South Korea, Norway, Ireland, US. Currently they are negotiating with possible representatives in Bulgaria and Latvia.
They are looking for agents and franchise opportunities worldwide but they are especially interested in South-America markets f.e. Argentina and Asian markets.
Their mission is to make houses serve people not the other-way around. People are getting more reasonable and don’t want to pay huge amounts of interest payments to the bank. Instead of that they can do the things that they actually like if they choose to build a well designed a-frame building which is optimized in every step.
